Education: Travers received his B.S. in Informatics with a specialization in Computer Science from Indiana University in 2013.  He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2017 where he served as the Chief Technical Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.

Experience: Travers is currently Cislo & Thomas LLP’s Data Privacy Officer and practices in the areas of data privacy, patents, copyrights, and trademarks. Travers has experience with all aspects of patent prosecution, technology licensing, and intellectual property litigation. During law school, Travers worked as a judicial extern in the Patent Pilot Program at the United States District Court, Central District of California.  He additionally participated in Loyola Law School’s Sales and Use Tax clinic where he argued a winning case in front of the State Board of Equalization.  Prior to law school, Travers worked in the entertainment industry.  He was an assistant film and television editor for multiple years before he became Fox Television Studio’s post-production coordinator.
