Chris Eckart graduated Santa Monica Community College with a degree in English. Chris joined Cislo & Thomas LLP in 1998, and holds paralegal certification emphasizing patent litigation.
Chris is experienced in all aspects of paralegal work in patent, trademark, and copyright disputes in district courts throughout the country and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Chris is also experienced in all aspects of patent prosecution, including preparing and filing utility, design, provisional, and PCT patent applications; trademark applications; and copyright applications, assisting with maintenance of patents and trademarks; calendaring upcoming deadlines; and monitoring progress of patent- and trademark-related matters.
Outside of work, Chris likes to read history and to search the internet for interesting historical articles.
